My family are dentists, so I think I am somewhat knowledgeable about what to expect in a dentist's visit (my family are in Canada, so there is no way they could benefit from this negative recommendation).
I went to Kadanoff in early 2001 needing just a cleaning. He more or less forced me to take a full set of X-rays, which were expensive and I had to pay for, saying that he could not proceed with the cleaning without having them (a staff member feebly tried to say that they were required by law, or something along those lines). When I told my family members who are dentists, they were furious.
I have never been back and would avoid visiting him if at all possible.
