A type of dental restoration known as a porcelain veneer, composed of laboratory-made porcelain/ceramic material, which is bonded by a dentist over the visible (labial) surfaces of <em>prepared teeth</em>. The teeth may or may not require temporary veneers to be placed, but the fee for temporary veneers is generally included. Compare with D2960 and D2961.
