My first visit to Dr. Kimmel was extremely quick and very pleasant. His staff was very helpful in setting up my patient account and I was in the chair fifteen minutes after I arrived. I received the same type of cleaning the previous commentor did, but I actually asked about it, instead of complain later. Dr. Kimmel explained to me that he uses a more aggressive technique when cleaning teeth because a) it's faster for them to clean the teeth that way and b) it gets your teeth cleaner. He also mentioned orthodontal work to me, but that's because he's trying to drum up additional business (he has an orthodontal license, which kills two birds with one stone).
Overall, I have not had any problems with Dr. Kimmel and his staff. He's very particular about promptness, so don't show up late. I did follow up with the orthodontal work and he quoted me an extremely low price. I have now been in three times since to have my braces tightened and it seems to be working.
I highly recommend Dr. Kimmel.
