Hes not friendly, his work is careless because he rushes since he has a lot of patients. He’s always doing something else while working on my teeth and he doesn’t let you ask questions, you have to ask the assistances. I got my braces off after 5 years, and I would have switched orthodontists if I could.

A very good dentist, his prices are good, and he works fast. Genuinely cares for his patients.

Dr. Lyons is the orthodontist at Dr. Toothys. Dr. Toothy is the most affordable place to get Invisalign. I am lucky to have found this place. I have finished with my Invisalign for about a year now and my teeth are still perfect. It took about a year and a half to finish my Invisalign. Dr. Lyons does everything by himself unlike other orthodontist where they have the assistants do it. Dr. Lyons doesn't charge for refinements and retainers unlike like other orthodontist. His office is very pretty and clean. The assistants are very professional and nice. Some might have a little accent but you can understand everything very clearly. During my Invisalign treatment, I had to have a filling done and the general dentist here is great. He is very professional and only will accept perfection. Dr. Lyons have great music choices. He plays the newest hit songs. Dr. Lyons is there almost everyday of the week. I think the only day he isn't there is Mondays. He even opens on weekends which is great for me.

My parents took me to Dr. Lyons when I was a teenager for braces and the entire experience was horrible. Almost all dentists, orthodontists, etc I visited asked who did my orthodontic treatment. Once they heard Dr. Lyons, they just frowned. I am planning to have orthodontic treatment again b/c I have an openbite after treatment from him. His dental fee for braces is a lot less than the regional average in NYC. I think this is the only way for him to attract new patients.

I went to Dr Richard Lyons for my braces years ago. I still see the leftover marks on my teeth from the poor cement work. His office in Chinatown was always crowded and unkept. I never enjoyed my visits and the whole experience of having him as my orthodontist was terrible.

I don't really have a set dentist that I visit, but the service provided here was adequate. I did not have an appointment on my first visit, but was told I'd have a good chance of seeing the dentist if I came in first thing in the morning at 7AM. Wait was not too long. Service was prompt and to the point.

Wait is too long. Too chaotic. There is too many patients squeezed into a limited time slot and the wait is forever. It is inconsiderate considering my children are pulled from school and sometimes their appointments are cancelled. I am not happy but feel trapped to finish the treatment.

Now known as Dr. toothy's in chinatown. They have the greatest equipment and a relaxing atmosphere. I cannot say much about the cost since i havent been to any dentists but the overall experience is amazingly painless after 2 root canals.

I went to Dr. Lyons for a root canal, bridge and crowns, and both the experience and results were horrible. He stuck so many needles in me that the roof of my mouth is all rocky. The size and color of my teeth do not match at all. He basically ruined my smile for the rest of my life. I have a fear of dentist now and will only go to dentists for cleanings and maintenance work. Every dentist that I have gone to has commented on the poor work done by Dr. Lyons.
