Dr. Lasky expresses his political opinions while you're in the chair, unable to respond. When I asked, politely, to have a politics-free dental appointment, he did not back off and then loudly mocked me to his next patient! Clearly audible in the front office, as I was settling the bill. Unprofessional, insulting, offensive. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect my dentist office to respect ALL opinions.

About Hygienist: Hygienist is lovely. Professional, kind, very capable. Too bad she works for such an unprofessional jerk.

I have had routine dental work, a bite guard, and fillings. The office is dated, but it is conviently located in Dupont Circle and takes a majority of insurance. Dr. Lasky can seem brusque, but he has always been very nice and made me feel comfortable. He did a great job with my fillings - no problems.

About Hygienist: The hygienists are extremely talkative, but do a great, through cleaning job.

I had an appointment with Dr. Lasky scheduled for Dec. 22, 2011 at 2:30pm. I went there and the office was closed. I took time off from work for this visit. Dr. Lasky's office did not bother to call me to inform me that his office is going to be closed. I left a copy of my appointment card with a little note taped onto his office door. As of 2/21/2012 I have not received any phone call from Dr. Lasky's office to apologize for their mistake or to reschedule the appointment. This is the second time that they treated me this way. Last time they forgot to call me for two years.

Initial visit was for an exam. Found that I have a cavity and my teeth needed cleaning. Office is in a great location but the office itself is crammed.

I was referred to Dr Lasky to be my regular care dentist. He would yell at me beyond his being hard of hearing. He would call and scream at me when he thought bills werent being paid when in fact it always turned out to be the case his staff messed up. I enjoyed his hygenists but all the work he did needed to be redone or have specialists do it over

Dr. Lasky is very rude, inappropriate in is comments. The wait for scheduling a visit for a cleaning is extremely long.

I went for my 1st regular checkup/cleaning in several years. Found him via my insurance carrier. Co-pay was $5 for x-rays, cleaning. Office is tight and not recently decorated, but staff was very nice, Dr. Lasky was nice and professional. The pain I experienced was due to my own neglect, and even so it was minimal. First time I ever had "sonic" cleaning.

About Hygienist: Enjoyed my chatty hygenist, too - what a great spirit - gently but firmly nudging me to do a better job at home to reverse my gingevitis and stave off a possible cavity...

He is fine for cavities, but don't let him do a root canal. He really botched mine and it created longstanding problems that need elaborate and expensive surgery.
