I was very thankful to be referred to Dr. Check by one of her many patients here at the IMF. She is known as an honest, caring, dentist who does successful, conservative treatments at reasonable rates.
From the minute that I entered her office, I knew that I was in good caring hands from the front desk to Dr. Check herself. Her office is very nicely decorated for all of the holidays and you get the idea that you are a family member. I am a very nervous patient and the kind, caring, open to all questions attitude at her office is very important to me.
I had some gum disease and lost a few teeth, despite thousands of dollars of periodontal care, requiring a couple of implants.
She is very prevention oriented and has a lot of
knowledge about gum disease. If I would have seen her in the beginning, I do not think that I would have lost the teeth. She even manufactures her own prevention products which are awesome and given freely to her patients.
She did a wonderful job on my implant crowns and now my gums are in the best shape that they've ever
been in, so I do not anticipate losing any more teeth.

I recently had a filling break and called Dr. Check as I work in downtown DC. I was surprised when she gave up her lunch hour and told me to come over immediately . She filled the tooth in about 30 minutes and it was painless. I am so glad that a co-worker at the Fed referred me to her that I am singing her praises everywhere as I am a dental phobe. I felt from the start that she is experienced and knowledgeable and I had no fears.
She was so nice and fun that I will be going for regular six month check ups and will look forward to it.
About Front Desk: Jane is wonderful. She will work to give you an appointment time that works for you. She always calls and reminds you of your appointment.

I was recommended to Dr. Check from a co worker at the IMF.
She had a friend from the World Bank who recommended her.
Dr, Check was given rave reviews from the health dept at the World Bank as being a very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and a minimal treatment dentist.
I needed veneers on my six front teeth and several implants in the back of my mouth. All of her fees were covered at the max of 80% by my insurance.
I cannot explain how happy I am with the results from Dr. Check. I highly recommend her.

I work at the IMF and had been to two dentists who wanted to crown my teeth!!! Several colleagues recommended Dr. Check and I was refeshingly surprised when she chec ked my teeth and suggested simple fillings instead of costly crowns.
I had the fillings done 15 years ago and I have had no problems since.
She works on time and really knows her stuff.
You will not go wrong with her as your dentist.

Dr. Check is the best dentist I have ever had. She is great at what she does, but also puts you at ease at her office. I have complete trust in her, as she has never steered me or any of my family members into what I feel is "big money" dentistry, which is what I experienced at several other dentists. My family and I will continue to visit her and actually look forward to it. She's great with children also!!!
About Hygienist: Very gentle, thorough and "clean feeling" when you finish. She is on time so that you don't have to wait or waste time!!!

I am an employee of the World Bank and was first recommended to Dr. Check from many associates at the World Bank who were her patients.
She is known for saving your natural teeth as much as possible and doing the dental procedure that is the least radical, as a more radical procedure can be done at a later time if needed. I appreciate this. She is very straightforward in explaining all of the options, the prices, etc.
I trust Dr. Check and have only heard very positive things about her.
