Dr. Grant, I would like to begin this email by stating that my purpose of this is to inform you of my experience today upon visiting your office. My name is Raquel (you referred to me several times as Rachel) you removed my wisdom teeth last Thursday. I developed a dry socket in my lower left side. I made an appointment Monday to come into the office, the kind dental assistant cleaned the dry socket and packed it. While it was unpleasant it was not excruciating. Today when I came in to visit you, you appeared frustrated and hurried. You proceeded to clean the dry socket (even though your dental assistant cleaned it beforehand, which I know you were aware of because I could hear her discussing it with you outside of the room). You displayed a rushed demeanor and you appeared annoyed with me (if you were not, you exhibited signs of annoyance). You roughly inserted the syringe deep into the dry socket and proceeded to "clean it". Again you displayed annoyance when I jumped back and showed and expressed obvious signs of pain. You went on to say, that i could leave if I wanted, and that it was my choice. The way in which you said this did not promote assurance or a feeling of concern from you towards me.
