I hope you have a better experience than we did with this dentist but our entire family gave them a try for over a year and believe the office is 1) interpersonally dsyfuntional; and 2) professionally incompetent. Regarding the first, the office turnover is astonishing, and the office tension readily apparent. The dentist herself is obviously interested exclusively in payment rather than patient. This latter claim is supported by a) rushed procedures; b) making sure your schedule fits her brief schedule; c) draconian missed appointment policy. As for professional incompetence we experienced 1) my wife's temporary crown came off within a week--twice; b) my wife's permenant crown put on crooked which they were unable to straighten; 3) twice I arrived to find that my permenant crowns were not there and told to come back; 4) my temporary crown had to be smoothed immediately by another dentist; and 5) after my last permanent crown I had to immediately get another dentist to fix. (You can't go back the same day because they often leave by 1 pm thursday and are not there again till mondays. Finally if you dont want a rubber dam during a procedure good luck. The dentist's psychological need to control is real and masks and obvious insecurity. I hope you have better luck but I would advise you to choosse virtually any other dentist in the world. The only good thing I can say is that dentists she recommends--Dr Jeffrey Samyn and Dr Rubens--are both excellent.
