I would like to describe a horrible experience i have had with this doctor. This is the most unprofessional person in the dental business. I am a 60 year old woman. Over the last few years i was dreaming about changing my smile and improving my teeth. She came recommended by a friend. I went for consultation. She was very sweet, promised me a Brooklyn Bridge, told me she can do anything i want. I wanted crowns on my upper and lower teeth. I was ready to spend significant amount of money as long as i get the job i want. We scheduled an appointment to start work. She told me pricing per tooth but didnt give me any written estimates.
I came for appointment, sure i will be getting what i asked for. She worked for a few hours. I am not very well versed in dental procedures so i was under the impression i was getting the job i requested. By the end of appointment, instead of crowns, i received permanent veneers on the bottom teeth and temporary cups on top. EVERYTHING IN THE MOUTH WAS NOW CROOKED. UPPER VENEERS WERE UNDER 10 DEGREES INCLINE, HUGE AND UGLY. BOTTOM TEETH WHICH SHE MADE PERMANENT WERE ALL WAVELIKE. When i saw what she has done i was in shock. I asked what have you done to me. She said: veneers. I said: i didn't ask you for veneers, i wanted crowns, she said for that you would need root canals.
I came home distressed. I was supposed to go for the second appointment to do permanent veneers. Now if temps look ugly, would you go to do same type of permanent teeth? I got scared of her work. I called her and left a message. 3 messages. She called only a week after asking what happened. I said i am very unhappy i am not coming back. She said why? I said your job is very unprofessional and bad looking i dont want teeth like this, i will have to find another dentist to correct the damage. She said I am sorry.
Now a month later a bill from financing company comes. For 8k. I was in shock. I call her, and she says she is not gonna refund the money, she has done her job right way and its my fault i didn't come back for more. She ordered permanent veneers from technician and said she is not gonna refund me. I promised to sue her for malpractice, she said do it i have good lawyers.
I am still in shock. My mouth has been grossly bastardized, i can't properly talk, eat, everything causes discomfort. My upper and lower jaws are totally misalligned. Teeth look huge and out of place. And now i have 8K bill to pay. I am consulting my lawyer how to handle this.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR FOR ANY COSMETIC WORK. FOR THE HUGE MONEY SHE CHARGES YOU CAN GET BEST DOCTOR IN MANHATTAN WORKING WITH MOVIE STARS AND MODELS. ALL THIS WOMAN CARES IS BILLING. SHE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE QUALITY OF HER WORK, SHE DOESNT CARE ABOUT HER REPUTATION, ONLY MONEY. SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO COSMETICS.
YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF AND WILL BE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR SMILE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. IT IS THE WORST INVESTMENT YOU CAN MAKE. HOPE MY REVIEW WILL HELP SOMEONE TO SAVE THE MONEY AND MAKE A BEAUTIFUL SMILE ELSEWHERE WITH REAL PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE.
