The best way to describe service at Dr. Furman's office is as follows: It is like an assembly line. The services are cheap, but for a reason. He is very fast--too fast in my opinion. He moves in a patient and gets them out as soon as possible so he can hurry on to the next one. This has been my experiene every time I have been there--I no longer go there. Considering that my dental health is important I feel like the dentist should take his/her time and treat it as such--Dr. Furman does not. I feel like one of the cars on the assembly line--just another number....move them in, move them out!
My last experience with Dr. Furman was what finally turned me away. I had a probelm with one of my teeth, but every time Dr. Furman looked at it he said he didn't see anything wrong with it except that it needed a filling. Eventually, the tooth abcessed and as this was an emergency I went to a nearby dentist who explained to me that the tooth abcessed as a result of a bad filling--he said that the filling material used on my tooth was defective (i.e., expired!). I returned to Dr. Furman and explained to him the situation. He did a root canal and charged me full price. He never took responsiblitiy and never apologized. BAD!!!
