When the treatment is worse than the problem, there is a problem.
Dr. Cherin did a great job of selling his services up front but once I was a patient I experienced cancelled appointments, discrepancies in the treatment plan, a staff who did not seem to be concerned with my needs and a poor chairside manner. Phone calls were not returned on a timely basis and often his assistants were rude, condescending and almost hostile. When the pain became worse, the staff was dismissive and told me "just hang on". I begged for a referral to a pain specialist, PT, ANYONE who could help me and he just kept pusing drugs on me.
This $3800 experience was a nightmare. He only works 2 days a week and is partially retired. IF you have TMJ, find a specialist who will take your concerns seriously and not cancel apts.
