I'm changing my dentist. Each time I have visited the dentist here, the service is worse. A temp hygienist handled my first cleaning, which went fine, but I was very surprised that on my first visit, the dentist barely spent any time at all for the final check. The second time I went the hygienist's cleaning was incredibly painful at times -- and when I jumped from pain when she inserted a cleaning tool deep under my gums, she didn't even stop to let me compose myself. Then the dentist came in and the visit was even shorter. I had to beg him to take another look because I'd been having some sensitivity around the site of an old filling that I thought might need to be re-filled. He looked again for two seconds. Said: "It's fine" and abruptly left. I've asked a friend for a recommendation and my next cleaning will be with a new dentist.
