As my general dentist, he put in about 9 crowns, ostensibly to correct my bite. He made two bite plates. and did a couple of root canals. My tmj and bite continued to get worse. He sent me to a TMJ specialsit whom I did not trust. I was told by two physicans along with two other dentists not to go to this man because he bilked patients of money with poor results. When I changed general dentists to one on my insurance plan, he said he could not approach my mouth and to see a good prosthodontist. I consulted two people who both told me the crowns were poor, two were cracked (and poorly shaped for my mouth). After a search, I have ended up with a highly rated prosthodontist taking a thorough approach to my mouth, consulting with an endodontist and periodontist who will work with him to rebuild it. He said the crowns were so heavy for my teeth that they contributed to the wearing lower teeth,to my TMJ, bite and new perio problems.. Today the endodontist went in to one of the root canals and found that Hanley had missed a root; both it and the prior root had infection seeping into the bone. I had a swollen lymph node from it under the jaw. Hanley is a nice man who means well, but I've wasted a lot of money on his work.
