When I needed a root canal, I said I wanted to go to the endodontist I had seen previously. Moss got upset and said, "Oh no. We do root canals right here." In a city like S.F. with so many excellent specialists, a general dentist should refer patients to specialists. Moss seemed to be hard up for money. He was also uncomfortable when I said I didn't want Xrays too often unless there was a reason. He didn't like that probably because it's such a source of easy money. Also, his female assistant argued with him while I was present.
