I had a cleaning and then later an extraction. Treatment was great. In fact Dr. Efobi and the dental assistant were singing softly as they did the procedure. They were singing Chirstian Spirituals. I am not particularly "churchy" so although it was very nice, it could have offended others ....maybe.

About Front Desk: I think this person can be rude and dismissive. Once when I called in I said I wanted to set an appointment and she said aloud "well there is is whole LOT of work you need to get done so where do you want to start?" Any patients in the wating room certainly heard her. This is a medical or healthcare practice and privacy is important. I saw her get a bit snappy with a patient who was asking for detailed information. She responded "The form is on the copier, I can't read it until the copy is done!" In fact I just finished a call to the office re an invoice showing that I owe a balance of $23.00 for a visit in May. I asked receptionist what the balance was for. She checked the records and said, "Oh you don't owe that at all, your insurance has covered it." If I had not taken the time to make the call I would have sent a check for money that was owed to the practice.

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: The first hygienist that cleaned my teeth seemed very nervous and talkative. She dug in my gums and then told the DDS that my gums were bleeding. I said "well you have been digging at them for about 45 mins so of course they are bleeding" . Thre is another Hygenist that is wonderful however, so I don't want ot focus soley on negative. A new hygienist was there in May who took notes on reason for the visit etc. She did not ask if my medications had changed or if I had been through any surgeries etc. I would not have noticed except for the fact that I did have major surgery in March and was on daily medication as a result. It was important that my provider be aware of it but I was not asked. So I volunteered the info to the DDS when she came in the exam room
