I was a patient of Alan Faber for over 15 years and trusted him, he has a very calm, covincing demeanor and really puts you at ease. BUT I have spent thousands in the past 2 years trying to have corrected the inferior work Dr. Faber performed. He's the only dentist I know who works without an assistant in the room with him, has bragged to another patient about not attending continuing education seminars and his equipment is totally antiquated. It all started with a growth on my gums which was just an abscess but he didn't know what it was. I visited a peridontist and discovered that it was caused by the surplus bonding put on the tooth instead of a proper crown and also I had to have a root canal and new crown, and also discovered had severe peridontal disease which required expensive surgery and which any hygenist doing a thorough cleaning should have detected . When i mentioned my gums bled it was blown off as brushing to hard One of the bridges he made broke in half because he used bonding material instead of metal, another bridge came loose because the post was not secured allowing decay to develop - lost both bridges which have been replaced by a partial - still dealing with the lumineers -ugh - stay away

About Hygienist: her idea of a cleaning consists of scraping a little plaque, flossing and polishing for a few minutes. No checking the gums between each tooth to check for abnormalities - sad

I know this doctor: 15 years
