Very competent, which is the most important element in assessing a dentist. His workmanship and professional judgment have been excellent.
Unfortunately, his office's business practices leave a lot to be desired in that his office sees patients as walking dollar signs. When I walked in for a routine rec-cementing of a bridge with no pain, I ended up being told that it was "necessary" to have a complete "dental exam" and all sorts of x-rays; the bill for everything was many hundred of dollars spent unnecessarily. I was also told to replace the bridge, which would have cost me more than $3,000 if I had gone along -but didn't. This is sad because Dr. Rizvi's very high competence is negated by his office's business practices (he shares his office with another dentist, and I am not sure who sets the business practices tune).
