I had a root canal by Dr. Chernick today. Let me start by saying I was extremely fearful due to a previous root canal (different doctor) that was torture. I actually started crying when I went in for the consultation a week earlier. Dr Chernick PROMISED that the root canal would be painless and he was telling the truth. I did not even realize that he had given me the novacaine and that was the part I was fearing the most. He is kind, gentle and I would recommend him to anyone that has a dental phobia. I finally have the courage to get some much needed work done and I am booking my second root canal with him right away. My dentist told me in his opinion this practice is the best in the city and one of the top practices in the country.
