Dr. Goodman is pleasant enough when you see him, the problem is getting in to see him.
I must to call at least 3 months in advance to get a 10 minute cleaning. I've had 2 appts. rescheduled because he was sick. The Dr. did not work the appts in for another day. Instead, my appts were pushed back 3 months. My last appt was rescheduled so he could go home and take care of his dog (but was rescheduled for 10 days later).
Despite my being a patient for several years and accepting multiple rescheduled appts without complaint, they were unwilling to make an exception when I needed to make an appt. I called in March to make a cleaning appt. I was told that the soonest I could come was July 24th. I explained that I would be getting laid off, and needed to come in by June 30th before my benefits expired. I asked if they could fit me in somehow. The receptionist just said "we don't fit in cleanings". So I called the next week to see if they could call me if they had a cancellation. I was told I would be added to a waiting list.
After waiting a month, I called the office. I was told that the Dr. had to go out of town, and they had to reschedule a large # of appts. So there's a larger waiting list, and I won't be getting in.
