Dr. Smalley treated my son (age 8 when started, 10 when moved away before completing process) with kindess and humour. He didn't "baby talk" my son, but he was age-appropriately funny and kept the atmosphere light but professional. I would gladly have continued my son's orthodontia at Dr. Smalley's office if we hadn't moved, but I do recommend him to anyone who is needing an excellent professional who doesn't take himself too seriously to add a bit of laughter; what orthodontist isn't working toward a beautiful smile?
