I am 37, and if I could have made it so I never had to walk into a dentist office in my life and dealt with mouth pain, I would have chosen the pain over going into a dentist..
However, that being the most unrealistic decision, I was forced by the powers that be to WALK INTO A DENTIST'S OFFICE and get it fixed before it was too late.
My journey began with the ULTIMATE Dentist on the planet.
(Dr. Jon Engel in Beverly Hills - who NEVER made me feel silly about my dumb fears.)
He and his office were ready for me and made sure when I got there I was comfortable and the rule I really like is, I dont wanna see it, hear it, and really dont want to know step by step what you are doing....He followed that so well and even went out of the way to really care.
It is RARE to find anyone in any business who takes such pride in their work and truly loves it. Dr. Engel knew EXACTLY how to work with me as opposed to my husband who walked in ready to just geter-done.
I can't stress enough, thatDr. Engel made the ultimate dentist procrastinator, who is a tough sell, not only feel like he honestly cared about my teeth and customized a plan that worked for me.., but he also handpicked the specialists I needed and they were on same page. A+++

Dr. Engel is one of the most knowledgeable dentists I have ever met. His practice is always updated to the latest technologies and his staff is incredibly professional and friendly.

This is by far the very best dentist office in Los Angeles. Dr. Engel's staff is kind and professional. They have always eased my fears and made me feel comfortable. I love them!

I hated going to the dentist. Hated it. Then I found Dr. Engel. His staff, headed by his mother, are supportive and kind. Dr. Engel is personable, caring, accomodating, and superb in the care he offers. Everything in the office is state of the art. He goes out of his way to make your experience a positive one and that your teeth and gums are well cared for. I would NEVER go anywhere else for my dental care.

This was the most relaxing trip to the dentisit I have ever had. The front office staff (often managed by his mother :) is the most helpful, kind faces. They were very helpful in talking to the insurance company on my behalf so that when I came in, everything was already taken care of and there were not any financial suprises.
Dr. Engel is one of the gentlest and aware dentists that have crossed my path. I highly recommend him to anyone that may have had bad experiences in the past and are looking for someone to calm their fears.
