I came to Dr. Kim through a marketing appeal by Affordable Dental Care, the clinic which is she is now associated. With an offer of accepting as payment in full what my Boeing Aetna coverage paid. With three molar crowns ahead of me, I saw that I could save $1500 by I changing dentists.
Dr. Kim has done two molar crowns and I am now in the midst of my third. Dr. Kim is efficient and focused on her work, so if you like someone who is chatty, look elsewhere. Though she is quiet, her manner is calm and confident. Making her laugh a couple of times gave me an impression of some warmth as well.
Notably, Dr. Kim has done my cleaning as well utilizing an ultrasonic descaler, which I found I preferred to manual descaling. She is gentle and gives every impression of very careful attention to treatment. Lidocaine iinjection was done slowly and gently, minimizing discomfort and anesthesia has always been fully effective for the procedure.
Affordable Dental's new location in an ordinary strip mall does not give a good impression, but the care received is as good as I've received anywhere.

If ever there was a dentist who truly has a passion for teeth, Dr. Kim is the one! She has a kind demeanor and is good with patients who truly have a fear of the dentist and somewhat senstitive gag reflex (like me!). Unfortunately, she is no longer practicing at this location, and I have to try to find a dentist who is as wonderful as she...and am finding this a very difficult task.
