Have had crowns, cavaties, and a root canal. In the past, I was very fearful of going to the dentist. Dr. Cornette is the best. Gentle, compassionate, pain free dentist. He really does cater to cowards. I can relax, knowing he will insure my comfort.

I have just recently starting going to Dr. Cornette's office. I did not see Dr. Cornette, but I did see Dr. Mike. All I can say is the hes is the BEST dentist I have ever been to in all of my 44 years! He is very polite, very knowledgeable about his job, makes you feel at ease with his chairside manner, he calls you from his own cell phone to make sure you are ok after you have work done. He is a great dentist, with a great staff!
About Hygienist: My cleaning was very good. No pain and my girl was very nice and very informative.

I’ve been going to Dr. Cornettes’ office for many years. He takes the time to explain procedures I need in terminology I can understand. He and his staff are the greatest. So glad I found them!

they lied every time i took my son there. they said there is a law that states every 8 months you need a x-ray. i called the ada of va and there is no law. if all i want is my sons teeth cleaned thats all i have to have done. that is their policy not a law. i no longer go there or take my son there. i don't like being lied too!!!!!!!!

I was very pleased with my first two visits to Dr. Cornette’s office. The office atmosphere was pleasant and professional. Dr Cornette not only fixed my filling but also evaluated my other teeth. He used an Intraoral camera to take pictures of my teeth. I was able to view pictures of my teeth on a monitor so I could see where the problem areas were. He took the time to explain what was happening to my teeth and what needed to be done to correct the problem. He is a proactive dentist who treats the problems before they become more serious ones. I would highly recommend Dr Cornette.

I had horrendous experiences with the family dentist as a child which shaped how i viewed tooth care. When we settled in Hampton, VA, i looked in the phone book and found the ad "We Cater to Cowards" and i knew i'd found my dentist. Dr Cornette is the consummate professional--he explains every procedure thoroughly, has a fantastic ability to administer anesthesia without feeling it, and actually treats me, the patient, like a person instead of a number passing through his office. Our insurance covers most of our family visits, and the bookkeeping staff lets me know what is due after all insurance claims are exhausted. In spite of all the patients they see, the staff remembers us and our particular problems which adds to our satisfaction of the practice. I have had gum procedures, crowns, root canals, cavities filled, and was recommended for an implant which he finished up--i can't thank him enough for suggesting it as the alternative was not pleasant. All procedures were done pain free, in a relaxed atmosphere. I would so recommend Dr Cornette to everyone who is looking for a great dentist. Probably my highest compliment is that i always make my next appt right then and there instead of putting it off!
About Hygienist: Ginny is a wonderful hygienist--her pride in her work is evident. My teeth are cleaned well and quickly and she talks to me, again as a person and not a "mouth." I don't receive lectures but suggestions on what i could do to improve my tooth care. What a difference over previous dental hygienists i've had!

Dr. Cornette has been my dentist since 1986 and that says alot to remain with a doctor for this length of time. Before I met him I was a coward when it came to going for dental work. He changed that feeling. He is kind, gentle, and very professional. If you are looking for a great dentist, try

I am a patient of Dr. Cornette's, and have been very pleased with his work, and his professional staff. They are always very friendly, and keep the appointment as painless as possible.
They always tell what is going to be done, and what it will entail.
The office is always friendly, and courteous.
I would most certainly recommend Dr. Cornette to other people.

I have been going to Doctor Cornette for 10 years. I have had just about every procedure, except for cosmetic done at his office. I have never had any pain, even when getting a shot of Novocain. He always has a smile and a laugh. He is a true professional in every sense of the word. He explains everything in words the average person can understand. His assistants and staff are top notch; skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. I have and will continue to recommend Doc. Cornette.

Their signage "We Cater To Cowards" is true to form!! I walked into Dr. Cornette's office an estimated 15 years ago and said, "I hope your sign outside is true because I am the biggest coward you will ever come across". Literally my teeth chatter and my body shakes uncontrollably while in the chair. I become a complete spaz. Nonetheless, the staff has been fabulous. I've had 2 root canals with no pain and almost fell asleep during the first one. If ever the man goes out of practice, I don't know what I will do. He is patient, knowledgeable, skilled and overall awesome... and so is his staff.
