Dr. Rivas is pleasant, professional, helpful, a joy to visit. Sadly, my insurance has changed so I will have to change dentists, though I would recommend her very highly. She didn't pressure me to get treatment I didn't need and didn't hassle me about delaying a trip to the dentist for much too long. She's located downtown, so convenient if you work in or near the financial district.

Polly offers the best dental care in the city. Her assistants are kind and quiet and thorough, the office is lovely, they have the latest technology and are extremely knowledgeable. Never had an unnecessary procedure, and they have recommendations for all my questions. Best dentist ever!

Polly Rivas is a great dentist! I have been seeing her for years and would not consider anyone else. Always is right on with treatment and advice. She takes advantage of the latest technology to help the patients.

Visited Dr. Rivas only one time last year for a cleaning. At that visit, I found out she was no longer going to honor my insurance in 2006. But my one time there was very pleasant. She is nice, engaging, friendly. We talked college sports a little too, since she is a Cal Bears grad/fan. Her office was nice, with a view of the street below as I sat in the chair. Good experience, and would go back if not for the insurance issue.

Dr. Rivas has been my dentist for many years. She shows a lot more concern about my mouth than I've found from other dentists. I am impressed that she often does the initial cleaning herself also measures and records my gum recession. I have referred numerous patients to Dr. Rivas and they have all been very happy.

I just had a routine 6 month exam. Wonderful SF view from the window of the chair. Everyone in the office was helpful and the hygienist didn't jab you like some can. They even called to let me know that I qualified for x-rays on my insurance and asked if I wanted to set up an appointment. Great experience overall.

Dr. Rivas is patient and explains dental issues very well. She used a camera to show me my teeth and then explained what work should be done. She alsoo understood what I could afford being a poor student and worked with me to get the lowest prices possible. Her office staff is kind as well and always returns my calls within a day to answer any questions. I highly recommend Dr. Rivas.

Dr. Rivas is one of the best dentists I've seen. She's not in it for the money and actually listens to you! She is friendly, kind and gentle and super fast!

She's very nice and she puts you at ease. I like how honest she is- she combines just the right amount of sterness and understanding when you tell her you never floss!

Polly is wonderful! Her entire staff is friendly and helpful. The work she does is great, and everything is always painless. She always remembers little details about your life, and greets you with a smile.
