Have always liked the man. Everyone is very friendly. Don't have to wait much at all. Gets everything done quickly.

This dentist is unethical!! Was not aware of his exorbitant fees. Thought they had verified what our insurance would pay, but they did not call. No estimates furnished for extractions and cleaning nor were his fees quoted. Admin collected what we thought was our balance after each procedure. Now 2/3 into my husband's bridgework they tell us we are going to owe another $1115--instead of the $450 we had budgeted--based on his SWAG and not a call to the provider. I tried to reason with him about our retired fixed income situation but he refused and just said that insurance companies were not going to dictate what he charges!! And he went off on a rant about insurance companies! We asked and were told they worked with all insurances, but did not clarify that he doesn't accept reasonable and customary--only bills with no clear understanding of your portion nor anything in writing. He's got $900 of our insurance money, and $600 of our money and now refuses to complete the partial until he is paid in full. Since I spoke to him twice yesterday, he told me he won't discount his fees at all! BEWARE!!!! Unreasonable, very rude, and unethical.

About Front Desk: Very unknowledgeable

We were told that he accepted all dental insurance. Turns out he only files it, he does not accept usual and customary as designated by Delta dental. We were not made aware of this until impressions and frame fitting were done. We paid 50% up front as we were informed that our insurance would pay 50% of his fee and we would owe $900. However, today during the frame fitting we were told our balance was an additional $1200 as our insurance paid only $975 of his $1800 fee, not the full fee that was originally estimated. $975 is deemed reasonable and customary but he doesn't accept reasonable and customary. He wanted another $1200 before he would finish the work. We had already given him 50% ($450) when he started the work. We are retired, we can't pay another $1200. He was not upfront about not accepting what our insurance paid. We are leaving our $450 on the table as it is still cheaper to go to one of several dentists in Ft Worth that are willing to accept the R&C, true cost of the partial uppers.

Unkind and unfair and harassing. The service was fine but minimal and brief with older equipment. The prices were not given upfront and were outrageous, way, way above the national average for fewer services. They would not accept what we originally agreed.

About Front Desk: Nice but not competent. Even after I paid the bill, they kept billing me every week.

I have gone to Dr. Kelley for 31 years. He is very conservative in his approach and has always taken good care of mine and my family's teeth. He is personable and keeps a history on any questionable work that MAY be needed in the future and he is always right. I tried a new dentist that was more modern and he was the same price with a coupon and then left the practice/office. I like that Dr. Kelley does his own cleaning and not some assistant.

Every 6 months I go and get my teeth cleaned, with x-rays once a year. He's never found a cavity or told me of work that needs to be done. I'm concerned and will go to another dentist to see if there are any problems. Dr Kelley has made no investment in his office or equipment in years. He does not seem interested enough in his practice to invest in it.

About Hygienist: Dr Kelley does the cleaning and hygiene work himself.

I've been going to Dr Kelley for many years and have been happy with his work. He allowed me to work out a payment plan when I had work done that I couldn't pay for up front and has always been easy to get in to see. I really recommend him if you need a dentist in Ft Worth.

All 8 teeth had open margins and did not cover teeth underneath, so they were left vulnerable to decay. Looked like lumpy Chiclets and were put in crooked. Caused speech defects. Dental reviews by 3 experts declared all his work to be clinically unacceptable and sent me to someone to do the restoration to save my teeth. Dental insurance required him to refund cost but he has refused. He does not have the expertise or equipment or procedures to do the work he advertises. He grossly overcharged. DO NOT let him near you!
