Upon completion of orthodontics, I requested veneers on 8 teeth to enhance my smile. Instead, Dr. Fritsch ground down my teeth and applied onlays. At first I was thrilled with the result, and since I was told the onlays would probably "outlive" me, I thought I had made a wise choice in improving my smile. Unfortunately, that was far from the case. Within the first year, I had to replace three of the onlays due to them cracking or just falling off entirely. Since then, I have had nothing but trouble with these onlays. Currently I have three of the original eight that are still attached. The others are either completely broken off, or half the onlay is still attached, the other half gone. I have super-glued pieces back in desperation... I don't have to tell you how horrible my teeth look! I am embarrassed to smile, even to speak to people! I paid $600 per tooth for the "perfect smile" and I can't even open my mouth.
