I went to Dr. David J. Gordon for general dentistry as well as some cosmetic dental work. I spent over $17,000.00. I had replaced a couple old crowns, needed a couple crowns and wanted my six veneers replaced as they were almost 10 years old and needed replacing. The office is nice, the staff is nice and Dr. Gordon was very nice, until there was a problem with the dental work that he performed. My dental work, not so nice! I replaced my 6 veneers and had 4 additional teeth done. Dr. Gordon did the veneers the first time and the color was yellow looking, so he did them over. I now have a second set of veneers done by David Gordon DDS. I now have defective veneers as they turn the color of whatever I eat or drink. I drink orange juice and they turn yellow, coffee and they turn brown, etc., etc. The crowns that were done on my molars are ground down too small so my bite has collapsed. My front teeth hit into each other and it is very painful. When I reported the problems that I am currently having to Dr. Gordon he initially said that he would give me my money back so that I could get my teeth properly fixed. He later sent me an email saying I should no longer contact him as he has sent this to his malpractice ins.

Dr. Gordon is the best dentist around. I live in Waco and still travel to Austin to get my teeth worked on. He is very faithful-he came in on Christmas day for me when my fake tooth fell out!...it's now permanently installed :)

I feel that I was told to have a lot of things that were not necessary, I had extensive procedures done that I heard the Dr. telling other patients they needed to have done also. It is almost like Dentistry upselling. I wouldn't recommend going here, it is one of those dentists that you try to stay away from.

I recently went to Dr. Gordon for the first time--after my previous dentist decided to retire--and I was very pleased. I had the same hygienist as with the previous dentist--whom I have always liked, but this time she used new cleaning equipment that felt like I really had my teeth cleaned--not just polished like many times. I also really liked Dr. Gordon's demeanor. I have not needed him for major work yet, but I am hopeful.

I saw Dr Gordon a few years ago on the recommendation of a coworker; she was right -- Dr Gordon is an excellent dentist and has a great chairside manner.

I have been to many dentists in Austin and I can say that David Gordon is the best of them. He is a very nice and sincere person. He always explains everything he is doing and makes the patient feel comfortable.

By far, Dr. Gordon is the best dentist I have ever encountered, and I have been to a few. I would recommend Dr. Gordon to any patient because he is sincere, listens to your concerns, and is extremely thorough with your plan of care. I never knew going to the dentist could be fun and pleasant, and I always look forward to my next visit...even if it involves more than a regular check-up. Dr. Gordon is a class-act professional.
