Dr. Ortale and his staff are terrific! Always very pleasant, welcoming and eager to put patients at ease. They always review the recommended treatment and costs thoroughly and work directly with the insurance company on coverage. I highly recommend Dr. Ortale to anyone living in the North Central valley.

A most caring, efficient, knowledgable dentist and staff. After her first visit, my grand daughter, age 16, said she loves this dentist office. They have been so kind and gentle to her. She had several fillings, and a molar extracted, with no problems or pain. They filed the insurance for us. We highly recommend Dr Ortale and staff.

About Hygienist: My grand daughter was long overdue for a cleaning, and the hygientist was wonderful, gentle, and took extra time to do a thorough job.

I was not too impressed with this dentist. He took over the practice from another dentist and I only saw him a few times before I switched. I was skeptical of all the fillings he said I needed replaced. He then recommended a bridge for a tooth that had been through osseous surgery so the tooth was "iffy" at best. I was hesitant to spend that amount of money on a procedure that was likely to fail. He didn't seem too happy with my decision. Also, he had employed a spanish-speaking assistant who could barely understand English and one of her responsibilities was to record my measurements as the hygienist read them off to her. The hygienist was having to constantly correct her and I became a little concerned about the quality of care. I also had a bit of trouble with the front desk because I was made to pay a portion of my charges up front, even though I was covered by 2 insurance plans. I would then have a credit balance but when I went back, the credit had disappeared.
