A superb dentist. I've been going to him for 25 years, after being recommended by a colleague of mine. Saved my mouth!! Painless, never have to wait more than a few minutes, has the latest technology, and the work is meticulous. I have 2 crowns, and I really have to think hard to even remember which teeth are fake! As my old amalgam fillings deteriorated he took them out and replaced them with perfect porcelains...again, can't even tell there were fillings to begin with. Brooke in the front office is terrific...and the whole experience is totally painless, even for me, who's a confirmed sissy when it comes to dental pain. I highly recommend this practice.

I don't know, I thought he was nice. The surroundings were very clean. They are very reasonable with appointment time and his assistant Brooke is great. Very accommodating...and the hygienist is a sweetheart.

I went to Dr. Zuckerman because I had an ache-y back molar that he said must be cracked. The process was very painful because of the crack but he felt it was okay just to cap it rather than pull it. I never had such painful, stressful dental work before. The crown procedure turned out a disaster because he also made it too big (too long). It threw my bite off and my jaw ached constantly. I returned & asked him to shorten it. He instead filed down the opposing teeth on the bottom which were perfectly fine! He said he couldn't make the crown any shorter but I think he just didn't want to deal with me anymore. I should've asked him to replace it with one that actually fit correctly, but I was afraid to go through all that pain again. I'm not usually squeamish with dentists, but the experience with Dr. Zuckerman was so awful, now I'm afraid to go to anyone! And that darn crown is still too big! It's too bad, because everyone in the office was really nice.

This dentist filled a large cavity for me. The surface of the filling was so rough that I had to interrupt my vacation to visit a dentist in Montreal a week later. The French-Canadian dentist danced around his office, laughing at the poor quality of the work. He polished it, but also recommended that I have it replaced entirly when I returned to New York. Not a lover of dental work, I stupidly did not take the Montreal dentist's advice until two months later when the tooth began to ache. My new dentist in NYC told me that the root/nerve had become infected because the poorly done filling had leaked and I that needed a root canal. So I paid $580 and went through an hour-long filling procedure only to have to visit another dentist while on vacation, only to then have to spend $900 more and two unpleasant hours on a root canal. Thanks Dr. Zuckerman!
