I went for a root canal--painless. His manner was very nice. I give an excellent review.

Dr Tympanick thought he needed to replace one of my fillings, which had never caused me any trouble. In replacing it I was in agony. And was unable to chew on that side, eat anything hot or cold. I had to have a cap put on by another dentist soon after. I have had pain in that tooth for 5 years, and just had to have a root canal (approximately $4000 later). Do NOT go to this dentist!
About Hygienist: The hygienist was amazing and the best yet! She should go elsewhere too!

He did work on me about a year ago. He is one of the roughest dentists I ever met. He charged me a fortune, about $500 for each tiny filling.
He hurts when he works on you. He's not gentle at all. I felt he was trying to make money off of me. I was in pain after awhile and some work needed
to be redone. Although, Steve is a nice guy, I don't think he's a good dentist at all. And he'll take every penny from you. Tiny fillings, even in NYC are not $500... What also shocked me is the dumpy office he has, there was dirt all over one room. It looked as if it hasn't been cleaned in a long time and his equipment is old. The building smelled of rats when I went in it. I'm surprised he would be in such an old building with such high prices.

Highly recommended. Dr. Tympanick is very gentle, considerate and patient, and does amazing work. He did my veneers and they are spectacular!

Dr. Tympanick is the best Dentist I have ever gone too. I have been extremely satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him. I was sent to him by way recommendation from a friend. He is the most patient and kind Dentist in town!

I LOVE Dr. Tympanick! He is a great guy and a fantastic dentist. He has done veneers for me and everything went so well -- I sent my mom to see him. I am an anxious patient, but he makes me feel very comfortable. I recommend him to everybody I know.
