Dr. Raiber did not do what he had explained he would do and really botched up my teeth (causing me unnecessary pain, expense, and damage to my enamel). I am still dealing with fixing the problems that he has caused me and will be out several thousands of dollars for something that could have been a quick inexpensive fix. When I went to another doctor to fix the problem, he said that Dr. Raiber had really messed up and that I should check to see if he was really certified. That only made me feel worse. While Dr. Raiber was outwardly friendly, the quality of his work was awful, and he performed something different than what we had agreed on. Unfortunately, since it was occurring inside of my mouth (and I couldn't see what was going on), I only found this out after it was way too late.
About Front Desk: Front desk seemed nice. However, I had to pay for a treatment that wasn't what I agreed to.

he is the best. A Practical dentist with complete absolute knowledge of dentistry. I've had fillings and a crown completed . the doctor is very relaxing, friendly an kind. I have recommended him to countless others. My entire family goes to Our FAMILY DENTIST--- Dr. Raiber.

I have been going to Dr. Raiber for five years now. I first went to him to have a crown reattached. It hasn't come off since he reattached it. He has also replaced a filling that came loose. In other words, he has mostly fixed other dentists' mistakes. I've never had to ask anyone to fix one of his, because he doesn't seem to make any.
Dr. Raiber and his staff are always friendly and accommodating.
About Hygienist: They hygienists vary in quality, although they are all at least competent. There seems to be significant turn-over.

Over thiry years ago my boss recommended Dr. Raibur, his tennis partner, to me saying he has the best eye/hand coordination of anyone he'd ever known, and that he's also a great human being. What a recommendation! Thanks to him, I have all my teeth at 64, no gum disease, many crowns and the only one that broke was when I mistook an olive for a grape and chomped on a pit. My daughter has never seen another dentist and comes in from New Jersey to see him. He is super gentle, warm and friendly, the ultimate professional. Costs are what you'd expect in NYC but so long as you have insurance, quite manageable.
About Hygienist: His new hygienist just gave me the most thorough yet painfree cleaning ever; his receptionist has been with him as long as I have and is wonderful, never makes a mistake.

My previous dentist left his practice and someone highly recommended Dr. Raiber. I was sorry I didn't start with him years ago! His office staff was lovely, he was extremely friendly and soothing and I walked out of there without the toothache I came in with! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Raiber is a fantastic dentist and a great guy. I have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentists office, but Dr. Raiber's office actually doesnt stress me out somehow. Awesome!

Dr. Raiber is the best! He is highly skilled and has the best "bed side manner" He never makes you wait. His staff is excellent. He is literally the best dentist ever!

The procedure Dr. Raiber performed was very painful and I would not recommend him, even though I had been seeing him for years. I have now found a new dentist.
