Initial consult was needed prior to having an extraction done because I have a cardiac history. My blood pressure was elevated 170/90 and heart rate 48 which is not the best picture to see. Upon entering the room he acted overly confident and was even somewhat arrogant. Not one mention of my cardiac condition and potential risks. Was seemingly put off that I wished for local anesthetic and not IV. Started telling me how much work might be needed ect. Then why does the assistant ask me ahead of time what I would be choosing even before having a discussion with Dr. Preceruti? He then comes in and makes me feel like I'm stupid. Maybe he wasn't pleased because I wouldn't be as big of a profit. Honestly...I am afraid of IV anesthesia because of my potential for dangerous arrhythmias. Was a code blue once and worry about potential triggers. I have just cancelled my extraction appt and will be getting clearance from my cardiologist first before proceeding. A precaution Dr. Preceruti did not even think to bring up. He seems to have a lot of high level qualifications and I have no doubt he does good work but I was concerned over his lack of detail during our 5 minute consult which included a one hour wait time in the office.
About Front Desk: Everyone was rushed but tried hard to be nice.
About Hygienist: Assistant was very nice and helpful.
