Dr. Gold is knowledgeable and careful. He makes sure you are pain free and is concerned about the patient. I am squeamish about dentists and he makes me feel comfortable and unafraid. I love him and would recommend him to anyone

Beware...check his billing practices. He could be a good dentist BUT he's not honest- he's in it for the money. So really, someone should tell Delta dental. We're all being cheated.

This man is the best. I know what I'm talking about ! Before I moved to NYC I had found the best dentist in London, and I expected that moving to NYC would mean I would either unhappy or over-charged. But Dr Gold is simply of those people who are "good". In today's world where so many people are out to get what they can out of me, one of my annual pleasures is going to a dentist I can admire like a brother.

About Front Desk: Again the skill of surrounding himself with pleasant staff includes the ever-alert, ever patient receptionist. She never hurries me, she always welcomes me. This is the first review I have ever written about anyone, and I do it because wonderful work should be acknowledged, and I rarely feel this way ! John Windsor-Cunningham

About Hygienist: I guess having good people on his staff comes from him being the way he is. The hygienist is caring, careful, misses nothing, and keeps me relaxed.

Dr. Gold is the absolute best dentist I have ever seen. He is a brilliant dentist and remarkably well informed in many areas of medicine. He is also one of the finist people I have met in a long time. I actually look forward to my appts. with Dr. Gold. The office is welcoming, comfoting, and well run. I always leave the office with new, important dental/medical knowledge.....and even wisdom that I hold dear!

About Front Desk: Dina is awesome. When I have a break in my treatment, she even brings me coffee! I felt comfortable the first time I called for an appt. Thank you Dina!

About Hygienist: Fabulous, thourough, warm and supportive. Evalyn is almost always in the room during my treatment, adding to my comfort and complete relaxation. I am sorry that I do not remember the name of the hygienist that cleaned my teeth a few weeks ago....also the best!

Procedures nothwithstanding-the office help is terrible and inadequate. They are rude and incompetent and cause more anxiety than the actual dental work. He is a very kind man and probably a good dentist but I DON'T recommend this office. Also, rather expensive for procedures.

About Front Desk: Just awful. Deena and Evelyn are rude and unhelpful. Lena -part. Time and sweet but not really involved. Seems to be run just to make money -no consideration for the patient. And never ever have an emergency -you'll be out of luck here.

Just spent 3 hours in Dr. golds office because he is so incredibly patient and thorough! Realized what damage an average dentist can do and now Dr. Gold is fixing the problems of sloppy care. Ive never filled in a patient survey but felt it was warranted for a doctor who goes up and beyond and takes so much pride in his work. He even follows up with other providers to ensure overall care beyond his scope is achieved.

About Front Desk: couldn't be better - have never received a bill beyond what my insurance has paid - cant believe such a high caliber dentist still accepts insurance and doesn't charge in addition or try to collect additional fees like everyone else.

About Hygienist: Phenomenal - so thorough I had to leave to pick up my son and come back for the second half but my teeth are already sparkling

I have never written a review of anyone online before, and only do so now as I stumbled on this site when checking the address since I have an appointment tomorrow, and have no reason to speak well other than that I like the best and am surprised to have found it in someone I can afford. I am from the UK where I had a private dentist in the famous Harley Street who was generally considered the best in London, so when I moved to the USA I was anxious to find someone good here, and slightly worried when my London dentist was unable to suggest anyone for me to aproach here. I stumbled on Dr Gold through my wife who had also been happy with him. The most vital thing about the man - a fact from which everything else really follows is that he is intelligent. This makes him fair in his charges, brilliant in his work, and fun to be with. Also, incidentally, sensible about my insurance limits.

About Hygienist: The hygienists I have used at Dr Gold's have always been intelligent and therefore careful, clever, relaxing and I always leave feeling I have been in the right place at the right time. All this is rather effusive, I know, but, well, it's true. John Windsor- Cunningham ... (Oh, and I'm an actor so particularly anxious to get good dental service.)
