Pleasant, efficient, mindful of patients anxiety and pain tolerance. Excellent chair-side manner. Staff is friendly and helpful. Procedures done: cleaning, fillings, route canal, crowns. Would definitely recommend Dr. Convissar to anyone.

Although you might feel a little rushed by this denist's efficient manner of working, I have always been very pleased with all procedures. He also takes UFT (nyc teacher) insurance, and does not overcharge.

Very rude. Upset because I was transferring to a dentist closer to my home and wouldn't copy my xrays. Refused to speak to me on the phone about. Front Office staff EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Still fighting to get my xrays. The last straw was he put another patient's crown in my mouth and tried to force it to fit. He called his partner/wife in to see if she could do it and she realized the error. I rinsd my mouth with peroxide for three weeks!!!

I went for new crowns on my 2 top front teeth. He insisted on burning my gums to put longer teeth so they look less wide. I asked him not to & he insisted. My gums are so thin now they look black, and my teeth are so high they now hide behind my lips while smiling; smile is no longer full or genuine. He is probably trying to make money on his laser technology, so watch out. Smelling my flesh cook is not a nice thing either. I now hate my teeth & its irreversible. juanjunk at hotmail

Very relaxing dentist with a great staff. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and the treatment was excellent. Highly recommended.

Don't pay much attention to the ratings above. Just a generally good office with pleasant staff. I had to go in several times for cleanings and when I needed a referall for a root canal, they gave me a quick check and xray and then sent me to a specialist. They didn't charge me for the referral visit! Great people.

I don't know about the cost, because I have insurance, but this dentist is great. He's very calm and relaxing and nice. I HATE the dentist and am totally scared, but he's competent and easy-going. I highly recommend Dr. Convissar.
