I had a crown put in and 2 fillings by Dr. Steele. Instead of testing to see if I needed a root canal prior to inserting the crown, she just assured me since I was in no discomfort that I did not need a root canal.
When I complained that my tooth was hurting a month later, she told me to come in just to hand me a recommendation to an endodontist. She charged me $47 for that visit to tell me that she had no idea what the issue was. I indeed needed a root canal. This meant additional expense of having to have a filling in the tooth after the root canal In addition, which I had done elsewhere, not to mention the aggravation of extra trips and 2 months of not being able to chew on one side of my mouth!
Further, despite being seen by a dentist only 8 months earlier and receiving a clean bill of health, Dr. Steele said I had 2 cavities which needed immediate attention.
I question Dr. Steele's judgement as well as her ethics.
