Dr. Murray is a great dentist who is more interested in caring for you and knowing you as a person than getting you into and out of his chair. You'll never feel just like another number. If he can't help(he doesn't do root canals as a rule of thumb), he'll send you to someone who can. Great dentist and overall nice person.

Best dentist in Charlotte! I have been going to this office for about 10 years and they always take great care of me, the staff is very easy to work with. I recommended Dr Murray many times over the years and will continue to do so.

About Hygienist: I get my cleaning there twice a year and i love their hygienist, they do a great job and always on time. (usually less than an hour)

Dr. Murray is quite possibly the best dentist I have ever been to - he takes so much care in working with you and making sure he is selecting the least painful and most effective treatment. He never rushes to say "You must have this" or "We should also do this" unless you need it. He is also very cognizant of pain levels, always ensuring that you have the right amount of numbness so you don't feel pain but don't have to drool for the rest of the day! Great patient relationships. His section of the office is a bit outdated, but the tools and services are definitely up to date! The only downside is that he only works three days a week, so sometimes it is hard to get in - but I would recommend him to anyone. He actually makes me want to go to the dentist!

About Hygienist: The hygenists at Dr. Murray's office are all great - very friendly, gentle and know what they are doing!

This practice is top notch, both Dr's are kid friendly, thorough and have high integrity. They have advised me their opinions on several occasions to NOT have procedures done because they were not necessary. I have 4 small children who have no fear or anxiety of going to these folks office. Makes life much easier.

After numerous attempts to find a 'caring, compassionate' (& informed-professional) dentist, (spending 'a lot' of $$$ for new X-Rays each time, I finally found Dr. Murray... I can state ' Without question ', That he (& his staff) offer a standard of service and care ' that otherwise cannot be found'... I would easily give my highest rating to every aspect of their practice (from the receptionists, to his assistants and to Dr. Murray, himself...A+++ Extremely knowledgeable, up-to-date professional with the 'compassion and care' which is so difficult to find these days (especially in a physician)...

I know this doctor: first visit & will return

Dr. Murray has been my dentist for almost 20 years. (He will tell you he is not that old). Their care and treatment have consistenly been great by any of the several hygentists in the past. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Renee has run the office efficiently for years, and will confirm your appointment beforehand. The clever reminders have been postcards, but a phone call is also a great personal touch. You will enjoy this dentist.

Generally a good dentist - although charges always seem to exceed dental insurance limits - albeit only by a few dollars here and there. Very busy office and therefore sometimes difficult to get appointments.

If you need a honest, very qualified dentist, Murray and Sturner are the ones. They have cared for my family for many years, always looking out for whats best for us and they both believe in keeping teeth healthy without cosmetics (even though they offer some of the whitening techniques and various cosmetic treatments). I would highly recommend your visit and the new waiting room is almost too comfortable (If I had to wait very long, I would've taken a nap!).

I went to Dr. Murray for almost 20 years. While he does good work I found him more and more impersonal every time I returned. After being a patient of his for so long I would like to have even a nice casual conversation. He even pawned me off several times to the other dentist that works with him in his office. His office staff however is great. They are very personable. I hope you're not clostrophobic, because the waiting room is pretty tiny too. After almost two decades of the same dentist I am now in search of a new one. I will miss his staff and Dr. Murray's goofy business cards every year, but that's not why I go to the dentist. I like to feel comfortable there and Dr. Murray did not do that.
