OK, here's the score on this dentist: Went to him back in the 1980's. I really only needed my teeth cleaned, but Dr. Fred insisted that my fillings needed to be replaced! So, little to my knowledge, he actually messed me up by replacing those fillings. They didn't need replacing! Now, years later, my dentist (who is a USC Dental School graduate and teaches dentistry) tells me I will probably soon need crowns on my back molars due to the bowling alley that Dr. Fred created when he replaced fillings!
It's interesting to see how keen he is on cosmetic dentistry.....and watch out because he will set up up to make sure you need it! Dr. Arnold should get an award from American Greed. I didn't need the services he performed that he said I needed. I went to him and explicitly stated that I was seeing a dentist so that I would have teeth that lasted my lifetime. He made sure that isn't going to happen without a lot of expense now. What an ass!
