Dr. Berman cracked my tooth while repairing a occlusion (cavity). He did not notice the crack and the filling failed. I returned a year later to have a crown put on the tooth ($800). The crown popped off a month after it was installed. After he replaced it it lasted only 4 years before I had to have the tooth removed. I had to have an implant installed ($3,000) in place of the tooth. Dr. Berman is a nice person but lacks any skill as a dentist.

Dr Berman's office is great for teeth cleaning but very poor for any serious dental work. What started as a filling ended up costing me my tooth and over $3,000 to repair! When he filled the cavity he took out too much material which cracked the tooth. He then charged me over $800 for a crown which only lasted 3 years. I switched dentists and went to someone who knew what they were doing. They had to pull the tooth and then install an implant $2,200.

About Hygienist: Ellen was wonderful. Its too bad she works for a hack.

Dr. Berman and his staff are extremley professional but at the same time very down-to-earth and friendly. I highly recommend their services. I have had cleanings, fillings and a crown done at his office and rate him and his staff a solid 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. They put me completley at ease and left me with a feeling that I was a part of their own family.

I have a family of 4 and my previous Dentist had a fire in his office and had to close shop. I found Dr. Berman and he did a good job with my sons, emergency extraction and made my son very comfortable. We were happy with the service so we switched dentist and found the bills never stop coming. The cost of his services are so much higher than the insurance company would pay (that had never been a problem before). I even found that I was overbilled at one time. I am still questioning the next set of bills. Then my husband and I started to have trouble for the first time with tooth/gum pain after cleanings. They told us that it is because the cleaning they are doing is better than other dentist, but I think I now have problems with gum gaps. Then Dr. Berman wanted to fill a tooth that I was not having problems with. I went to another dentist and had it X-rayed (for the first time) and found there was not an actual cavity in that tooth. I just get the feeling that making money if very important to this office. That makes me nervous about what services are not necessary but can be billed. I need to feel like my teeth are being taken care of for my health and not the dentist's wallet.

Dr. Berman is very professional and freindly. He has a good support cast. All of his work has been successful for me. He is quite interested in being sure to avoid pain.
