Read Reviews for Dr. Michael Collura
I didn't have a chance to see the doctor because the front desk doesn't do their job as it is supposed to be done.
About Front Desk: My review is not about Dr. I just called to the office to make an appointment two times and got two different people on-line: one told me to call in 15 min, I did and then got another one online who started talking to me and then put me on hold forever. I was calling during busy work day and can't stay on the office phone for more than 15 min but this lady decided that she can just drop me with no excuses. Don't want to go to this office. Enough of 'nice attitude'.

Be careful with this doctor. His staff does not check with the insurance before your visit and you may end up with a payment from your pocket. A receptionist refused to call my insurance for a confirmation even after I asked for it. When I get upset and insisted on it she even said that it's not a hospital but a private office and they do not need to care about people that much!??

While on disability, I was enrolled in a dental plan. When I needed to have a post removed from my front tooth, I found a wonderful endodontist in Manhattan (Dr. Michael J. Collura). He was also a plan participant. When I learned that the procedure would not be covered through my insurance, I was able to get it done for 50% off his private dental fee rate and the procedure was done effortlessly, without pain and so quickly (in under 10 minutes). He's one of the best!

Needed a root canal, so I went to see Dr. Collura, an endodontic specialist. Dr Collura's office was able to book me the next day. I was literally in and out within 45 minutes, and able to see before/after digital x-rays of how it turned out. Dr. Collura was also careful to make sure I felt no pain. All I felt was a bit of pain that evening once the anesthesia wore off. I've had cavities fixed that took longer and were more painful! Also accepts many insurance and dental plans as well.

I had to have root canal work done on a tooth with a giant cavaty that my normal dentist somehow missed. Dr. Collura was extremely pleasant and made the entire procedure calm and as relaxing as possible. If I ever have to have that kind of work done again, I would definitely go back to him. He took his time, did a thorough job and was a professional the entire time.
