quoted me a price of $1,290 out of pocket for a front tooth root canal and was not wiling to negotiate his fee by even one penny.
although he is paid $800 for EXACTLY the same procedure from Delta Dental (AARP.)I was going to sign up for Denta Dental,
which starts at the beginning of the month.
so in TWO weeks-Dr. Goodman would be getting $800. and I would be paying $400.
About Front Desk: INCREDIBLY Nasty. Told me they are FAR too busy to answer my questions about insurance though this constitutes a difference of minimally $500 for me.Perhaps more. They actually HUNG up the phone with me. They I will have NOTHING to do with this office, and advise everyone to stay away. In my 50+ years. I have NEVER dealt with such a nasty staff. I have reported this to my regular dentist,who referred me to them,asked my regular dentist to a referral for someone else. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. HORRIBLE experience.

I have terrible teeth so I have seen Dr. Goodman more times than I can count. He is the best doctor I have ever had, period. I have an unfortunate tendency to need emergency root canals on holidays or on the weekend and he is always accommodating. He makes root canals as painless as they can be and he has a very kind and calming bedside manner. He is a little bit pricey but you pay for what you get and in this case it is worth every penny.

I came to Dr. Goodman with extreme pain in my teeth. He was so easy going and kind and made all the pain go away! He is a fantastic dentist!

What a TERRIBLE experience. . . . the pain medication didn't work, and we needed to stop several times to re-inject me with more. My mouth hurt worse then it did when I went to him, and my wallet was hit even harder. . . . I found out after the fact that the prices charged for this basic procedure were twice as high as other endontists. DO NOT GO TO BARRY GOODMAN!

Dr. Goodman recently performed root canal on my tooth and took me in as an emergency (prior to seeing Dr. Goodman, I was in tremendous pain and was unable to sleep the night before due to my bad tooth).
Like many patients, I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to seeing a Dentist and told Dr. Goodman to please make sure I have a lot of novocaine. He was very patient with me, very soothing, and the entire procedure was painless.
I haven't experienced any pain since the root canal and would highly recommend Dr. Goodman.

Dr. Goodman is an excellent Endodontist. It was a painless procedure. He is very competent, gentle and caring. I highly recommend him as a root canal specialist
