Dr. Yahav did a wonderful job on my teeth cleaning. He has nothing but the best and most advanced equipment. I would highly recommend him. His pricing is very competitive and he does extremely good work!

Veneers of most teeth. While I was extremely satisfied with cosmetic results, after 5 yrs, 2 veneers fell off. I am reluctant to return because the original procedures were very painful. I don't know why sedation or some other pain control methods weren't recommended. For the extent of work done, novacaine just wasn't adequate...at all. Also during a routine cleaning, I was having bleeding gums despite at least twice daily brushing with an electric toothbrush and flossing. Dr. Yahav was critical, almost yelling at me in asking if I was NOT brushing, if I was NOT using an electric toothbrush. After learning I was doing both, he "accused" me of NOT using a particular brand of electric toothbrush (I was)...basically blaming me for the problem. Later, I reviewed and googled vitamins, supplements, meds I was taking to see if any could cause gum bleeding. I cut back on ginko biloba and the bleeding stopped. Shouldn't he have asked about meds, supplements, etc. rather than my having to figure that out? And why be critical of your patients if you want them to return, especially if they have already expressed that they are fearful of dentist visits and have very sensitive teeth? The rest of the office staff were very pleasant and helpful.
About Hygienist: The hygienists I had there were thorough, helpful, pleasant, and answered questions in an empathic and educational manner.

I had four implants, four crowns, and four veneers done by Dr. Yahav. Dr. Yahav's team of dental professionals made the entire procedure comfortable for me and the quality of the result is outstanding. Dr. Yahav and his team have a tremendous amount of experience and very impressive technology that my prior dentist did not have and could not provide. I am extremely pleased with the results and I would highly recommend anyone to talk to Dr. Yahav and his team to see how they can give you an amazing smile.

Dr. Yahav is excellent, my veneers not only are beautiful but they have greatly improved my dental hygiene due to precise spacing. He is personable and attentive, and all of his staff is extremely attentive and nice. The procedure for the veneers is painless and at reasonable cost, and I am very happy to have done it. I thank Dr. Yahav for his great job.

Everything done in my mouth was done professionally.
Dr Yahav explained to me every step of the procedures he was going to perfom on me.

Dr. Yahav saved my dental health, after I moved to Evanston (Chicago) from poor care from North Carolina.
I had a great deal of work done and with good follow up care it has lasted me for 10 years and still going well.

I have known Dr. Yahav since 2001 with the 24 veneers on my upper and lower teeth. The process was painless and minimum stress. It is my pleasure to recommend Dr. Yahav from a routine check-up to the comprehensive veneer process. His staff is very efficient and cordial. After each visit with Dr. Yahav, I am confident that the treatment is done in a high standard.

If as much attention was given to patient comfort (pain control) and respect for the patient's time (consistent 2 hour wait with an appointment is disrespectful); as the amount of attention Dr. Yahav gives to his over-priced fees being collected, this would be a good find. Instead, it's like shopping at an airport gift shop for toothpaste...you pay significantly more and are treated by him as if it's doesn't matter whether or not you come back.
Dr. Y talks down to his clinical staff in front of patients and the chairside assistants are absolutely fantastic, skilled, considerate people.
I would not recommend him to anyone...not even someone I don't care for.
