Received a couple of minor fillings, only to result in severe pain and then I was told by her when I returned to complain about the fpain I should go to see a specialist who would perform a root canal!!! Charming.
I have had many fillings with other dentists and never resulted in pain - I have to wonder whether she did a poor job with the filling and now I am having to go for a very expensive and painful root canal. My original cavity never even hurt...

Dr. Radeka has recently opened Floss Dental Studio on Division Street in Wicker Park. Excellent dentist, very comfortable atmosphere. You can watch Mr. Bean or Curb Your Enthusiasm while she is working on your mouth. It really is like a health spa; in fact, there is a day spa next door! Facilities are state of the art; all x-rays use minimally invasive digital technology.

This state of the art office has a very relaxing feel to it. I found Dr. Radeka extremely personable and friendly. She spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. I felt more comfortable with her in 5 mins. than with my old dentist of 3 years. I would highly recommend Dr. Radeka to anyone that wants a great dentist.

Dr. Radeka's Floss Dental is a very nice facitlity with much to recommend it. The technology and techniques used are very modern and the atmosphere at her clinic is anything but clinical, rather it is very relaxing and pleasant (as a patient i was entertained both by the digital x-rays and video of the procedure as well as by reruns of Mr. Bean).
My only complaint is that when i wasn't able to produce the details of my insurance coverage, I was treated very differently than when i had first come in. After receiving treatment the receptionist informed me that they wouldn't take a cheque or my credit card (Amex) as payment, however, she did keep my credit card while i walked accross the street to withdraw cash ($300) to pay. The next day when I produce the details of my corporate insurance plan the staff was again all smiles and they refunded the cash i paid the day before.
Sadly I have to say that the overall experience wasn't a good one. Despite wanting to like Floss, I felt that there was a chance that I didn't receive the best care; she suggested fewer x-rays, no cleaning and only a filling in a tooth that has since required a root canal after finding out that I didn't have insurance details on my person.

Dr. Radeka treated me with respect and compassion, and explained clearly what to expect.
