I saw Dr. Herrmann as I need a yearly check up. He found one cavity. When he opened up the tooth he said that its a root canal. I was very surprised as I was never in any kind of pain. Without asking he continued working on the tooth, not informing me about the costs. He didn't even asked if I would like to proceed with his services, just told me that I owe him $550 when he was done. When I asked him which of the roots was infected, he said none. I was a little surprise to hear this because that`s what root canal is all about. After the second X-ray he found another root canal(again no pain, no symptoms)! When I spoke to my friend who is a dentists, he said that it`s weird and that I should get the xrasy and have that checked with him. He would never give them to me, nor the receipts. I paid Dr. Herrmann over $ 550 for the root canal for 4 visits. By visit 3 the balance was paid off. When I went back there for visit 4 he told him I owned him another $75. When I told him that the balance is already paid off he said that closing the tooth from the root canal is a "special procedure." Which is a total nonsense. Also, he didn`t even suduce me; furthermore, I was inSTAY AWAY! He just wants your $$, doesn't care about your health.

My first visit to the dentist in a couple of years--basic x-ray, exam, and cleaning. Was very thorough. Does not over-diagnose, told me the truth about my teeth. Also, very fairly priced.

I have been going to Dr Herrmann for more than 15yrs and go out of my way to see him. He is fair, concerned and does not over diagnos or overcharge, he is my dentist and will stay my dentist.

I have know Dr. Herrmann for over 5 years. He is an awesome dentist, straightforward and honest. Reasonable Prices, good service. I recommend him!
