I find the entire staff at North Pier Dental attentive and caring.
Dr. Couvelis is very hip and uses the latest technology. This is not your dad's or grandfather's dentist! He is very honest and covers the various options to a treatment. If possible he will preserve a tooth.
I could very easily choose a dentist in my own Edgewater - Andersonville neighborhood, but have chosen to remain with North Pier. The office is easy to get to since I catch a 147 express bus to Illinois and walk over.
I never have to wait more than five minutes to see the technician or dentist. Danm, no time to read the great selection of current magazines of interest to me as well others.
I like the loft environment and convenient location just east of Michigan Ave. A great plus is the Fox and Obel gourmet food shop on the main floor along with a coffee shop.
About Hygienist: Jen is very through and suggests what I should be doing. She always seems to know if she may create a bit of pain, and asks before doing something.

Dr. Couvelis has been my dentist since I moved into the downtown area about three years ago. Right from the start the staff made me feel welcomed and at ease. The front desk staff are very helpful and explanatory. While, the dental assistants give me their up most attention and really try their best to keep me comfortable. There is no doubt that Dr, Couvelis take pride in his work and all that his office is about. I would most definetly give Dr. Couvelis and his staff the referalls of my dearest friends and family members.

Dr Couvelis has been my dentist for a number of years and I will never be seeing another, as he and his staff are tremendous! As soon as you enter this office you feel very comfortable and are greeted by friendly faces. The staff is very knowledgable and willing to assist in any way. Dr. Couvelis himself has a very patient and caring demeaner. He takes the time to sit down and thouroughly explain his findings and gives multiple options for you to choose what works best for you. As far as his work, he is a perfectionist! Among multiple treatments that I am extremely satisfied with, my most exciting was my full mouth restoration and my teeth look fabulous. I highly recommend Dr. Couvelis and staff!
