Dr. G is definitely one of the best dentists I have ever visited. I am sad to see him leave the Embarcadero office. If you live out in the Alamo area you should check him out. He is extremely friendly and will go to great lengths to see that you are treated well during your visit and through the aftercare as well. His assistants are awesome, both Wendy and Bobbi always seem to be in a good mood and took great care of me. I sure will miss all of them.

I was referred by a co-worker after 2 bad experiences with dentists that failed to discuss upfront costs of things they were recommending. thus, when i paid $00s for things that were not mandatory, i felt completely ripped off.
i told dr. gallegos my concerns, and he was the consummate professional. very attentive, and would let me know which services were "nice to haves", "should haves", or "might want to considers"...
The only bummer is that he has moved out of SF!! he now works out of the east bay, so people that live or work there should call his old office and sign up with him.

My name is Pam and I had not been to the dentist in 2+ years because my childhood dentist had died and I had 2 children back to back. One of my husbands co-workers referred us to Dr. Gallegos and I was quite afraid to see a new dentist.
I walked into their office and their staff was pleasant and very inviting. Dr. Gallegos comes out and introduces himself, and begins to get my dental history. He is warm, sincere, and the ultimate professional. I recommend him highly.
I would like to share the moment that we decided he was a real keeper. My husband's crown broke on his tooth (no Dr. Gallegos had not put the crown on -- it was just old) and he called the office to make an appointment late Saturday evening, and Dr. Gallegos called him back and said he would meet him at the office at 7:00am on SUNDAY morning -- and he did!
Talk about great service. If you have MetLife Dental he is your man. This is my experience and I hope that yours will be as good as mine.

On my first appointment with Shawn I had to get an emergency root canal and crown. With that kind of hello all I can say is that he is still my dentist! Shawn rocks.

I went in for a routine cleaning and was very happy with the thorough job they did. Dr. Gallegos is very pleasant and the facilties are clean and modern. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
