I am one of the unfortunate people to have had very negative dental experiences in the past and am quite reticent to see a dentist. As a result, my teeth need serious work. I went to Dr. Holecek, D.D.S at Boulder Dental Health last week with a molar cracked in half. I was very nervous! The doctor was incredibly understanding and did everything he could to make sure I was relaxed, comfortable and informed of every little thing he was doing. He even taught me meditative breathing techniques to calm myself during the procedure. I was covered in a warm blanket, given holistic calming drops under my tongue and even given noise canceling headphones and an Ipod loaded with Alpha wave inducing music! He made me feel at ease and completed the work quickly and with the care and empathy usually only pediatric dentists bother to use. My husband had seen Dr. Hook at the same location a week earlier so I got to see the difference between the two dentists in the same office and let me tell you, it was night and day. Dr. Holcek laid out my treatment plan completely and made sure I was comfortable with it. I paid $450 for the temporary repair, a full series of X-rays and a RX toothpaste. I will definitely be back to B.D.H but only for Dr. Holcek!

Dr. Holecek is the kindest dentist I have ever been to. He is truly awesome! I have terrible dental anxiety and he and his staff put me at ease right away. I will never ever ever go to another dentist, and I tell all of my friends to go see him!
