I was really happy in thinking that I had found a good dentist. The first time I visited this office the dr put me right at ease and she had a gentle manner. That was the only plus. I had issues with them billing my insurance (when I called they said they were in network, then in office they said they weren't, then I confirmed while in office that they were but they said they weren't... what a headache!!!!) and they still tried to collect coinsurance and misquoted my benefits. Thankfully I know my benefits and refused to give them as much as they asked for - and my estimate was right! They tried to charge me 120.00 and my coinsurance was 62.50. The work on my tooth chipped a couple of days later and then I didn't go back (my own fault, not theirs... ) but why should I have to??? Didn't I pay to get the work done right? They said they would fix it and touch ups are covered (thank you) but I don't have the time to get work redone! Get it right the first time! I have had repeated problems with staff about scheduling and billing since and will NOT being going back!

I will forever be grateful to Dr. Hakala!!
My son on a Saturday afternoon, tripped, fell and cut his chin open. Upon receiving stitches at urgent care, I was informed that my son had ripped his gums away from his teeth and needed to see a specialist immediately.
Dr. Hakala waited after hours for us to drive across town and stitched my son back together.
I was frantic and so worried for my son...within minutes of Dr. Hakala's taking over the situation, I knew my son was in good hands!!
Within a week, he was back to normal and doing great!!!!!!
About Hygienist: I met, Ava, I do not know if she is the Hygienist - I refer to her as the lovely assistant...she was great as well!!!!

Very nice dentists, a little pricey for those of us paying out of pocket, and beautiful view of squirrels and ducks outside while getting teeth cleaned

Dr. Kate Hakala is our family dentist and I can recommend her. Nobody likes to go to the dentist, but she is a good dentist for myself, my wife and my two daughters. She has a nice office, she has a good manner with patients, and she makes the process of going to the dentist less painful than with some other dentists. She is also very active in the dental profession, and is very conscientious in wanting dental services to be a very high quality throughout Colorado.
