Great dentist and caring staff. Dr Kidd has been my dentist for over 20 years and she treats me like family!

HORRIBLE OFFICE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE. Medicaid patients are treated extremely unfair. My son has two cavities in adult teeth and the dentist informed me that Medicaid won't cover tooth colored fillings, only the silver kind. I called around and found out that this practice just chooses THEMSELVES to not allow this type of filling for patients on medicaid. So they can make more money. This practice knowingly LIED to me and who knows how many other patients who are now stuck with permanent silver fillings. They also werent going to do xrays for my daughter. I had to ask for this. (Last i checked a check up includes a cleaning and xrays) Dentist Kidd made unprofessional comments to my 8 year old stating that his teeth are yellow from all the smoking he's been doing? Yeah, not a funny joke for an 8 year old boy. We were also not given floss, tooth brushes, and toothpaste like they usually do. We feel highly discriminated against simply for being medicaid patients. When i called to let the supervisor know that it's not okay to say medicaid doesn't cover white fillings I was approached with a raised tone by the office ladies Paulina and someone else, then hung up on. My son had an appointment at another comfort dental, and i LOVE THEM. Wadsworth and coalmine, don't waste your time with these tools! They should be honest and tell patients that WE don't cover white fillings but other comfort dental.locations would be happy to. Nobody wants their kid looking like little Wayne!
