I'm a lawyer, and years ago I was referred to Dr. Cahn by several lawyers I know. He's now the dentist for a couple of judges and retired judges I know, plus my parents, plus me.
If anyone has a vested interest in keeping their mouths in prime condition, it's lawyers: after all, we talk, talk, talk. Dr. Cahn - Ellis, as he's always called - is a friendly, knowledgeable guy who's highly competent.
Now, if you want your dentist to look like a model and have an office to match, Ellis isn't your guy. He runs a low-frills office and doesn't stand on formalities. But he is extremely good at what he does, be it a routine visit or involved matters like crowns, root canals, etc. Give him a chance and you'll see why people have been loyal customers of his for years and years.
Ellis is really good at keeping pain either nonexistent or to a bare minimum. I'm a wimp when it comes to dentistry, so I appreciate that.
He works with all major insurers, and costs are reasonable. His billing practices are low-key: he won't hound you if a payment is late. His hygienist and front desk assistant are top-notch.
