My experience with Dr. Palella: AWFUL! I first saw one of his associates, who told me I needed 3 of my 6 veneers replaced with crowns. She botched the job: there were multiple problems with fit first, then color. Finally Dr. Palella took over and offered to redo the first 3 and give me a discount on the other 3, which were already 8 yrs old. Seemed like a good deal so I said OK. Dr. never talked to me about any aesthetic issues besides color, and since they took a mold of the veneers, I never thought the lab would ignore the mold and make teeth that looked nothing like the originals. As soon as the assistant placed them in my mouth I objected to their appearance, but she ignored me and glued them on anyway. Once I got home I got increasingly upset: the teeth are not glued on straight, they are all very different in size and shape - it's a very sloppy job. Made an appt with Dr. P a few days later; he told me they were perfect and I would get used to them. Got a 2nd opinion, and Dentist #2 agreed they were very different-looking from the veneers and thought I was reasonable to want them redone. I've tried for 2 wks to contact Dr. Palella but he has yet to call me back! Totally unprofessional and unethical in my opinion.
About Hygienist: I liked Jackie, the hygienist at Sheffield, but I am upset that the one on Division (don't know her name) cemented the crowns on AFTER I TOLD HER THEY DIDN'T LOOK RIGHT! I blame the dentist mainly, but she was at fault too.

I went to Dr.Palella's office and he was wonderful, I did a general cleaning and found a cavity which he took care of quite promptly- this is probably the best dental experience in my life, and pain free which i had thought was previously impossible.....5 stars
